Our acrylic metallic paints are specially designed for use on furniture and cabinets. These paints will dry very hard, and create a beautiful metallic luster. This paint can be used as an all over color, an accent or as a glaze when mixed with the Clear Glazing Medium. Brilliant White, Dazzling Aluminum and Stardust contain extra large mica particles and for additional sparkle. You can easily create a very high end finish with this paint line.
3 Simple steps

Paint an undercoat of Paint Couture in a color similar to the metallic paint, for example, use British Grey under Silver Star or Antique Silver. Under Pale Gold and Rich Gold, Russian Red works very well. Under Couture Copper, Peace or Madagascar Mocha is beautiful.

Metallic paint dry quickly so a well loaded brush is key for overall coverage. Â Use a synthetic brush and apply the paint in a long fluid stroke in one direction.

Finish! Our paint does not require a topcoat but is recommended for ultimate durability. Wait 24 hours after applying the metallic paint prior to applying the topcoat.
